If you feel tooth pain when pressure is applied or greater sensitivity to heat and cold, this is probably a sign of tooth decay. In case of extensive damage, the root canals are cleaned and the tooth is rebuilt.
Have amalgam braces replaced by photocomposite braces in the color of your teeth. Under amalgam fillings, decay often spreads further, which can lead to tooth loss. The photocomposite material is durable and also suitable for larger areas in the back-front part of the oral cavity.
